CCAC Vacancy

The City Council initiated efforts to redevelop its Civic Center by appointing the Civic Center Advisory Committee (CCAC) in 2013. The CCAC is currently working with staff through the design phase, to include coordination of public outreach, collection of resident input, and providing feedback on the design.

Due to the unfortunate passing of Phil Lively, the Civic Center Advisory Committee (CCAC) has a vacancy. If interested in the vacancy please submit an application online or by contacting me for an application.

The City Council will discuss a potential appointment at their July 15 meeting.

Holiday Closure

As a reminder, Town Hall is closed tomorrow in observance of the 4th of July Holiday which falls on Saturday. The Police Department is unaffected by the closure.

As the 4th of July holiday approaches, we would like to remind all of our residents that fireworks of any type are not only dangerous, but also illegal in the Town of Atherton. Chapter 9.20 of the Atherton Municipal Code prohibits fireworks of any kind.

The Police Department will be accepting fireworks for confiscation all weekend long.

Thank You!

Please be reminded that the Atherton Post Office is closed this Wednesday, July 8.

Thank you for being a part of Atherton Online.

Have a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend.
