pink patch

Pink Patch Project

The Atherton Police Department is proud partner with The Bay Area Cancer Connection in the fight against breast cancer.

To support the cause, the Police Department is offering a limited edition police department shoulder patch for $10.00 each. To purchase a patch, visit the Atherton Police Department Dispatch Counter at 83 Ashfield Road. Please make checks payable to the Atherton POA. Proceeds from each sale will be donated to The Bay Area Cancer Connection

During the month of October, you'll see our officers wearing the same pink patches on their patrol uniforms. The purpose of the department's pink patch is intended to stimulate conversation with members of the community to encourage public awareness about the importance of early detection and the on-going fight against this horrible disease.

On behalf of Police Chief Steven McCulley and the men and women of the Atherton Police Department, we thank you for your generous support of this wonderful campaign

Your Property Tax Dollar

The City Manager recently served as a guest speaker at a Friends of Holbrook-Palmer Park Reception. During his presentation, a question was asked about how much the Town receives from the basic property taxes paid by local residents.

As a result, the City Manager added information about property tax dollars to his online blog. If you haven't had a chance to check it out please do so by clicking the link below.
