At the end of the internship, she was offered a part time position in finance where she worked after school during the week. It was there that she first began to learn the inner workings, responsibilities and challenges of local government. Monica has since held several positions within the City of Madera where her passion for local government has grown and evolved.
Officer Todd Carpenter grew up in San Jose, California. He attended West Valley junior college where he obtained an A.S. Degree in Criminal Justice. Todd joined the U.S. Army and served one tour of duty while assigned to an Infantry unit.
