National Night Out!
On Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the Town of Atherton will host its sixth annual National Night Out in the Park at Holbrook-Palmer Park, 150 Watkins Ave.
National Night Out is a nation-wide program designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support and participation in crime efforts, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community relations, and let criminals know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. Atherton residents are asked to turn on their outside lights, lock their doors, and spend the evening outside with neighbors and police at Holbrook-Palmer Park.
Residents are encouraged to come and have fun and use the time to discuss neighborhood issues with their local police and set neighborhood goals and Watch Programs.
The event will include prizes and handouts, balloon makers and face painters, snow cones and cotton candy, music, jumpy houses, a landing of the CHP helicopter, an appearance by Red E. Fox, music and a BBQ. Don't Miss it! Its always a good time!....
