For Immediate Release

At 2 pm today we held the Bid Opening for the Civic Center Project. There were 4 bids submitted - Stronghold Engineering, BHM, Sausal, and SJ Amoroso. The Engineer’s Estimate for the project was $48,151,000. 
 
The lowest apparent responsive bidder was SJ Amoroso Construction at $44,177,000. The Add Alternate for the project was the Council Chambers at approximately $2.9 million.

Award of contract will be presented to City Council at the March 6 study session scheduled for 4 pm.
