Other Topics include: recent home and auto burglaries, crime prevention tools and information, alarm systems, free alarm monitoring by the Police Department, residential security camera registration, the PD records management system (Citizen RIMS), how best to receive timely information from the Town and Police Department (Newsflashes, San Mateo County Emergency Alerts, Town email, Social media platforms), how crime reporting works, and much more!

Coffee and desserts will be served. Please RSVP to Jennifer Frew.

Alarm Monitoring

The Atherton Police Department offers residential alarm monitoring. Systems connected directly to the Police Department eliminate the middle man monitoring service and significantly improve police response times.

Your alarm system, however, does you no good unless you use it. It’s important that you arm your alarm system even if you are leaving the home only for a quick errand.

To connect your alarm system directly to the Police Department, please fill out the monitoring form (PDF) and drop it off at the Dispatch Center, located at 83 Ashfield Road.
