TOWN OF ATHERTON ANNUAL COMMITTEE & COMMISSION RECRUITMENT:
- Audit and Finance Committee – 2 Vacancies
The City Council may appoint two (2) applicant to the committee:
- Applicant must be a Town of Atherton resident.
- Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at 2:00 p.m.
- Member appointments will be a four-year term expiring June 2025.
- Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee – 2 Vacancies
The City Council may appoint two (2) applicants to the committee:
- Meetings are held as needed on the fourth Tuesday of every other month at 4:00 pm. Special meetings may be called as needed throughout the year.
- One (1) member appointment will be for a term expiring June 2023.
- One (1) member appointment will be for a four-year term expiring on June 2025.
- Environmental Programs Committee – 2 Vacancies
The City Council may appoint one (1) applicant to the committee:
- Applicant must be a Town of Atherton resident.
- Meetings are held as needed on the third Thursday of every other month at 1:00 pm. Special meetings may be called as needed throughout the year.
- Member appointment will be a for a four-year term expiring June 2025.
- Member appointment will be for a mid-term vacancy expiring June 2023.
- Parks and Recreation Committee – 2 Vacancies
The City Council may appoint one (1) applicant to the committee:
- Applicant must be a Town of Atherton resident.
- Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm. Special meetings may be called as needed throughout the year.
- Member appointment must be a member of the Holbrook-Palmer Park Foundation and will be for a two-year term expiring June 2023.
- Member appointment will be for a four-year term expiring June 2025.
- Planning Commission Committee – 1 Vacancy
The City Council may appoint one (1) applicant to the committee:
- Applicant must be a Town of Atherton resident.
- Meetings are held at a regularly scheduled time and date set by the commission.
- Member appointment will be for a four-year term expiring June 2025.
- Rail Committee – 4 Vacancies
The City Council may appoint up to four (4) applicants to the committee:
- Applicant must be a Town of Atherton resident;
- Meetings are held as needed on the first Tuesday of every other month at 6:00 pm. Special meetings may be called as needed throughout the year.
- Three (3) member appointments will be for four-year terms expiring June 2025.
- One (1) member appointment will be for a term expiring June 2022.
- Transportation Committee – 1 Vacancy
The City Council will appoint one (1) applicant to the committee:
- Applicant must be a Town of Atherton resident.
- Meetings are held on the second Tuesday every other month at 6:00 pm.
- Member appointment will be a for a four-year term expiring June 2025.
