[ARCHIVED] Thefts from Vehicles in Lindenwood

Auto Burglar

On 2/24/19 at around 0305 hours, two unknown suspects were observed by the homeowner via Arlo security cameras, attempting to steal items from an unlocked vehicle in the driveway of a home near the intersection of Fredrick Ave and Greenoaks Dr. in Atherton. While taking the report, officers heard an audible vehicle alarm further into the Lindenwood neighborhood. However, the alarm stopped sounding before officers could locate it. It was later discovered that items had been stolen from inside a second unlocked vehicle in the driveway and a third unlocked vehicle inside an unlocked garage of a home in the 200 block of Greenoaks Dr.

Efforts to locate the two suspects were unsuccessful. Both suspects were wearing hooded sweatshirts, dark pants, backpacks, and had flashlights. The most identifiable features of Suspect #1’s appearance in the video were the reflective strips on the backpack and shoes. If you have any information that would help us identify the suspects, please contact the Atherton Police Department.

Please remember to lock your homes and vehicles and set your alarms.
