A tree fell on Oak Grove Av at Marcussen Dr in Menlo Park, adjacent to the Atherton boarder. The tree caused damaged to a power pole, requiring its replacement by PG&E.

Oak Grove Av will be closed for an extended period of time while the tree is cleared and the pole replaced.

This closure will impact the morning commute, particularly since it is in close proximity to Menlo Atherton High School. Cars which turn westbound Oak Grove from Middlefield Rd will need to turn around at Rebecca Ln, causing further congestion.

Avoid the area of Oak Grove Av and Marcussen Dr in Menlo Park.
