Road construction: 2016 Slurry Seal Project - Road Closures – 7/7-7/8
The Town of Atherton has contracted Pavement Coatings Co. for the 2016 Slurry Seal Project. The contractors purpose is to provide a slurry seal on the following streets:1. Alameda de Las Pulgas (from Camino al Lago to Stockbridge Ave)
2. Camino al Lago (Cul de sac)3. Bulb out (adjacent to Property at 98 Faxon)
During these dates/times, you may experience some delays and traffic/roadway detours. Please use alternate routes if possible. Please remember to make arrangements with your estate staff (gardener, pool company, housekeeper) regarding any special access requirements. Garbage service for that day will not be affected, but may be picked up earlier than normal (so get your cans out early). A detour map for Alameda de las Pulgas is provided below.
If you live on one of the affected streets and will need your vehicles on the day planned for the seal and do not plan to leave until after 8 AM, you will need to make arrangements to park your vehicles outside of the project area prior to 8 AM.
