[ARCHIVED] Residential Burglary on Alameda de las Pulgas

15-342Instrument_thumb.jpg

On June 17, 2015 between 8:30 AM and 1:00 PM a residence on Alameda de las Pulgas was burglarized. The suspect(s) used a paving stone to break out a double pane French door window at the rear of the residence. Upon entering the home, they ransacked the master bedroom, stealing cash and jewelry.

The paving stone does not appear to be from the victim’s back yard or from other adjacent properties. The stone is depicted in the photograph attached to this newsflash. If you recognize this stone as one missing from your property, please contact the Atherton Police Department.

It is important to arm your security system when leaving your residence, even if only for brief periods. Camera systems are a deterrent and can help provide leads should you or your neighbor become a crime victim.

If you recognize the paving stone or recall seeing suspicious persons or vehicles near Alameda de las Pulgas between Polhemus Av and Stockbridge Av this morning, please contact the Atherton Police Department.
