Demolition of the Administration Building
The Administration Building was demolished this morning. Beginning with pre-demolition at 8:15 am, the demolition effort reached full swing at 8:30 am. Stopping briefly to remove a stray cable, the work began again in earnest at about 8:45 am. By 9:45 am, the building was fully demolished.
The effort was meticulous as the contractor worked around tree protection and patio areas and the immediately adjacent Police Building.
Tomorrow, June 26, the contractor will begin haul away of the debris and begin clean up of the site area to restore full function to the Police Building for the next couple of years.
