This meeting is compliant with the Governors Executive Order N-25-20 issued on March 4, 2020 allowing for deviation of teleconference rules required by the Brown Act. 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES – May 26, 2021 Planning Commission Meeting.
a. 207 Atherton Avenue (APN 070-191-120) – *this item was continued at the April 28, 2021 Planning Commission meeting. Request for a Special Structures Permit to allow the location of a detached accessory building to have the same front yard setback as the main dwelling. Atherton Municipal Code Chapters 17.15, 17.32, 17.40.
Recommendation: Approve the Special Structures Permit.
b. Heritage Tree Removal Permit (HTR) – 1000 El Camino Real, Atherton (APN 070-360-100) – Request for a Heritage Tree Removal Permit to allow for the removal of one (1) heritage Tree. Atherton Municipal Code Chapter 8.10.
Recommendation: Approve the Heritage Tree Removal Permit.
c. School Master Plan – 50 Valparaiso Avenue (Menlo School), Atherton (APN 070-360-070) – Request for review of the 2021 Annual Master Plan Update. Atherton Municipal Code Section 17.32.050.
Recommendation: Accept the report on the 2021 Annual Master Plan Update.

If you challenge a Town zoning, planning, or any other decision in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this agenda, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council at, or prior to, the public hearing. Judicial review of any Town administrative decision may be had only if a petition is filed with the court not later than the 90th day following the date upon which the decision becomes final. Judicial review of environmental determinations may be subject to a shorter time period.
Planning Commission decisions are appealable by any aggrieved person to the City Council within 10 days of the date of the decision.
