Town of Atherton PLANNING COMMISSION AGENDA May 26, 2021 6:00 p.m. REGULAR MEETING THIS MEETING IS BEING HELD VIRTUALLY
This meeting is compliant with the Governors Executive Order N-25-20 issued on March 4, 2020 allowing for deviation of teleconference rules required by the Brown Act. The purpose of this is to provide the safest environment for staff and the public while allowing for public participation. The meeting will be held by tele or video conferencing. The public may participate via Zoom Meeting.

2. PUBLIC COMMENTS (only for items, which are not on the agenda - limit of 3 minutes per person) 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES – April 28, 2021 Planning Commission Meeting. 4. PUBLIC HEARING Recommendation: Approve the Heritage Tree Removal Permit and Approve Tree Protection Zone Exception with modifications. Recommendation: Approve the Tree Protection Zone Exception. c. Tree Protection Zone Exception (TPZ) – 70 Amador Avenue, Atherton (APN 059-291-100) – Request for a Tree Protection Zone exception associated with one (1) heritage tree to remain from a TPZ of 10 times (10x) the trees diameter to six (6x) times the trees diameter. Atherton Municipal Code Chapter 8.10. Recommendation: Approve the Tree Protection Zone Exception. Recommendation: Accept the report on the 2021 Annual Master Plan Update. Recommendation: Approve the Conditional Use Permit. 5. NEW BUSINESS
Recommendation: Find consistency with the Atherton General Plan. 6. STAFF REPORTS 7. COMMISSIONERS’ REPORTS 8. ADJOURN
If you challenge a Town zoning, planning, or any other decision in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this agenda, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council at, or prior to, the public hearing. Judicial review of any Town administrative decision may be had only if a petition is filed with the court not later than the 90th day following the date upon which the decision becomes final. Judicial review of environmental determinations may be subject to a shorter time period. Planning Commission decisions are appealable by any aggrieved person to the City Council within 10 days of the date of the decision.
