This meeting is compliant with the Governors Executive Order N-25-20 issued on March 4, 2020, and Executive Order N-29-20 issued on March 17, 2020, allowing for deviation of teleconference rules required by the Brown Act. The purpose of this is to provide the safest environment for staff and the public while allowing for public participation. The meeting will be held by tele or video conferencing. 4:00 PM REGULAR AGENDA– Convene as the City Council
1. ROLL CALL - Wiest, Widmer, Lempres, Vice Mayor Lewis, Mayor DeGolia
2. PUBLIC COMMENTS – Public comments can be made by teleconference, Zoom Chat, emailed directly to the City Clerk, Anthony Suber at asuber@ci.atherton.ca.us or by text at 650-687-7084
(This portion of the meeting is reserved for persons wishing to address the Council on any item on the Special Meeting Agenda; no other business shall be considered. Each speaker may address the Council once for a limit of three minutes.)
3. SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT TO ALLOW TEMPORARY LIGHTS AT SACRED HEART SCHOOLS FOR ATHLETIC PRACTICE AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Report: Town Planner, Lisa Costa Sanders
Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council approve the Special Event Permit to allow temporary lights at Sacred Heart Schools for athletic practice from December 15, 2020 through March 15, 2021, Monday through Friday from 4:30 pm until 7:30 pm.
4. SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT TO ALLOW TEMPORARY LIGHTS AT MENLO SCHOOL FOR ATHLETIC PRACTICE
Report: Lisa Costa Sanders, Town Planner
Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council approve the Special Event Permit to allow temporary lights at Menlo School for athletic practice from December 14, 2020 through December 17, 2020 and from January 4, 2021 through March 14, 2021, Monday through Friday from 3:45 pm until 6:15 pm.
