2.               PUBLIC COMMENTS – For items not on the agenda.

3.               APPROVAL OF MINUTES – August 4, 2020
Recommendation: Approve minutes for August 4, 2020 

4.               PRESENTATIONS – Redwood Junction Station Proposal – Roland Lebrun (5 min.)
   Roland Lebrun will present his concept regarding a new rail station at Redwood Junction, in unincorporated
   San Mateo County, near Redwood City.

5.               REGULAR AGENDA

5a.            Caltrain Update (5 min.)

The Committee will receive a brief report on current issues and considerations at Caltrain including proposed sales tax measure and the Peninsula Corridor Electrification Project. The Committee will have the opportunity to discuss current and upcoming Caltrain issues as well as related items.  Not an action item.

5b.           High-Speed Rail Update and EIR/EIS Discussion (5 min.)

     The Draft Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact Study was recently released by the
     California High-Speed Rail Authority for the San Francisco to San Jose Project Section and other
     associated High-Speed Rail issues. Public comments are due to the Authority by September 9, 2020.
             The Committee will have the opportunity to discuss the Environmental documents, comments provided
     by other jurisdictions and other related items. Not an action item.

5c.           Atherton Station Closure Proposal (30 min.)

The Committee will receive an update on the Caltrain proposal to close the Atherton Caltrain Station, draft Memorandum of Understanding the Maintenance and Use Agreement for the Station Area. The Committee will have the opportunity to discuss the proposed closure and draft agreements, however, as this item has been considered by the Council and has not been delegated to the Committee for the recommendation or action.  Not an action item.
