3. ATHERTON COVID-19 RESPONSE UPDATES

It is recommended that the City Council certify the continuing emergency, and ratify such rules and regulations enacted by the Director of Emergency Services in response to COVID-19.
Description: The item includes a written report to certify the continuing emergency, and ratify such rules and regulations enacted by the Director or Emergency Services in response to COVID-19. Council will also provide direction regarding resumption of construction activity. Staff is present to answer any questions the Council may have on the items noted in the written Report. The Council may ask questions and discuss any item presented.
4. KNOX PLAYSCHOOL RENT DEFERRAL OR REFUND DUE TO COVID-19 SHELTER IN PLACE ORDER AND RELATED SCHOOL CLOSURE

Approve deferral or reduction of rent payments for Knox Playschools until the San Mateo County Health Officer’s Shelter-in-Place Order and School Modification Orders are lifted or the school reopens.
Description: This item involves the discussion of a rent reduction/deferral requested by Knox Playschools for the Holbrook Palmer Park facility. Knox Playschool has been closed to students since March 16, 2020, due to COVID-19 Shelter-in-Place and School Operations Modification Orders issued by the San Mateo County Health Officer.
