SPECIAL SESSION AGENDA
1. CITY COUNCIL GOALS AND GOVERNANCE WORKSHOP – DISCUSSION AND FEEDBACK REGARDING THE TOWN’S GOAL FOR THE COMING YEAR

Recommendation: Review, Discuss and Provide Feedback
Description: The City Council has 6 Goal Focus Areas - A) Maintaining Fiscal Responsibility; B) Preserving Small Town Character and Quality of Life; C) Create a Town Center/Library; D) Manage Circulation and Improve Safety; E) Strengthen Community Engagement and Transparency; and F) Be a Forward-Thinking, Well-Managed, and Well-Planned Community. The City Council will meet to discuss and provide feedback on the Town’s various goals and priorities for the coming year within each of the Goal Areas. Discussion may include issues such as priority capital projects, the Town Center Project, fundraising for the Town Center Project, Drainage Projects, Water Capture Facility, Transportation and Traffic, Transparency and Citizen Engagement, Refuse Services Franchise, Housing Needs and Long Term Housing Solutions, Public Safety and Police Services, Fire Services, Atherton Rail Corridor, Town Finances and Long Term Debt Obligations.

Judicial review of environmental determinations may be subject to a shorter time period.
Copies of all staff reports and documents subject to disclosure that relate to each item of business referred to on the agenda are available for public inspection by 5:00 p.m. the Friday before each regularly scheduled City Council meeting.
