1. ATHERTON DRAINAGE FACILITIES TOUR (Drive/Walk)
Tour by Steve Tyler, Public Works Department Superintendent
9:00 Meet in the Corp Yard office, hand out safety gear (hard hat, vest, glasses). Safety meeting (poison oak/ticks/yellow jackets/spiders). Ladder safety. First aid.
9:30 Arrive at location #1 – Marsh Road at Fair Oaks. Walk the lower channel to Middlefield Road. Exit channel at Middlefield Road.
10:15 Arrive location #2 - Station Lane/Watkins
10:30 Arrive location #3/#4 – Barry Lane/Elena culverts (show expansion projects).
11:00 Arrive location #5 – Polhemus/Euclid – Explain what is happening with runoff from this section of Town.
11:15 Arrive Alameda/Walsh - Explain what is happening with runoff from this section of Town.
11:45 Arrive at either Belbrook, drop structure or Channel headlands.

12:30 Return to corp yard office.
