The Atherton Heritage Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving our Atherton Heritage. We are located in the Atherton Town Hall located at 91 Ashfield Road. What Do We Do?

• Preserve and organize historical material
• Respond to inquiries from residents, students and others
• Provide historical facts for the Town Council
• Research historical people, events, and structures
• Participate in workshops
• Cooperate with local historical groups and authors
• Write historical papers for public distribution

The Heritage Association depends upon volunteers to staff our room. We provide
the necessary training in a fun and relaxed setting. Pictures, maps, and papers on
individuals and buildings in Atherton are needed to enhance our historic collection.
Financial contributions are always welcome to help underwrite some of the costs
for our materials.

• More than 2000 old photographs
• A computer with over 4000 historic entries
• Local maps
• Copies of original subdivision maps
• Family collections
• Historical magazines and newspaper clippings
• Books about Atherton and its residents
