SCHEDULED ROAD CLOSURES![]()
Over the next few months there will be several street reconstruction and paving jobs in Atherton that will involve road closures. The proposed schedule is as follows:
Atherton Avenue - June 16 through July 31
James Avenue between Magnolia and Lilac June 5 through June 17
Lilac Drive June 5 through June 17
Lowery Drive June 18 through June 24]
After the main roadway on Atherton Avenue is completed, the Atherton Avenue cul-de-sacs will also be reconstructed. Project construction is expected to be complete in August. For more information, contact Public Works 752-0570.

NEW LOOK FOR ARTS COMMITTEE WEBSITE
Be sure to check out the Atherton Arts Committees newly redesigned
website, which is part of the Towns website at http://www.ci.atherton.ca.us/arts/index.html.
The site contains information about all of the Committees upcoming
programs, and was designed by Atherton Arts Committee Art Instructor, Inga
Dorosz.
STREET PROJECTS COMING YOUR WAY
The Public Works staff is busy putting together plans and specifications
for rebuilding and resurfacing streets this coming Spring and Summer. Streets
that are scheduled to be rebuilt include San Benito, Bassett Lane, Lane
Place, Atherton Avenue between Linda Vista and Stern, James Avenue between
Magnolia and Lilac, Lilac Drive and cul-de-sac, Lowery Drive, and the two
Atherton Avenue cul-de-sacs on the north side of Atherton Avenue. Stockbridge
from Alameda de las Pulgas to Selby Lane will be patched and overlaid, and
the Holbrook-Palmer Park parking lots will be patched and resealed. The
Town also has a consultant working on plans to replace Elena Avenues
crossing of the Atherton Channel.
TOWN HALL DISPLAY CASE AVAILABLE
The display case in the lobby of the Town Administrative Offices is available
for community organizations to use to promote a special event or just to
exhibit an interesting display. Use of the case is on a space-available
