BECOMING A MEMBER OF THE ATHERTON ARTS COMMITTEE
It is easy to become a member of the AAC. All Atherton residents qualify. It is important, however, that they have an interest in art per se and in planning, developing and coordinating the work of the committee. Applications are available through the Town of Atherton website at:

http://www.ci.atherton.ca.us/COMM_APP_Master_2005.pdf

The committee is limited to 10 members and members are sometimes asked to supply their energies in advancing individual programs and this can include limited assistance during art classes for children. There is no financial requirement in joining the AAC, however, individuals find it pleasurable to give monetary assistance with particular activities. AAC is a not-for- profit organization under the umbrella of the Town of Atherton.

ANNUAL FUND DRIVE
The AAC conducts an annual drive to raise funds so it can continue its work in offering scholarships to children whose families do not have the resources to enroll their child in distinctive art programs, such as the AAC’s classes. AAC is committed to providing art awareness to the community.

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

The AAC will soon undertake a capital campaign to renovate the Garden Room to house the first Art Gallery at Holbrook-Palmer Park.
