tree codes

QR Codes - Trees at HP Park

Do you have a QR Code Scanner App on your Phone or Tablet? If not, the Apps are free and each one should handle any standard QR code just fine.

The Town has installed QR codes at trees in the park. The QR Codes (when scanned) bring up historical information about the tree it sits in front of. Information includes history, size, type and even the watering requirements of the tree.

When you launch your app, you'll see that your phone's camera is activated, with an on-screen framing guide. Line up the camera on your device with the QR code you want to scan, and hold the device steady until the app can read the code in front of it.
