Civic Center Meetings - Save the Date

You might recall that the City Council accepted the Civic Center Master Plan in 2014. The Master Plan envisions construction of a new buildings to house Administration, Community Development, Police, and a new Library, surrounding a Town Green. Roads would be reconfigured and site work installed to enhance access and safety.

City Council selected WRNS Studio to lead a design team for the project. WRNS will present their analysis and design concepts to the public at several public meetings in June. After listening to resident input and with guidance from the Civic Center Advisory Committee, City Council will give WRNS direction on a conceptual design.

In addition to the public meetings listed above, the Town will hold a series of meetings throughout Atherton’s neighborhoods to provide ample opportunities for residents to view the proposed design and to give input to guide its further development. Those meeting will be held the weeks of June 15 and June 22 - dates and times will be finalized and publicized next week.

We hope to see you at one of these meetings.

Thank you,
