City Council Meeting


The City Council meets this Wednesday at 6PM at the Main House in Holbrook-Palmer Park. The meeting will begin with Council reorganization including selection of a new Mayor and Vice Mayor. Followed by a proclamation honoring Public Works Superintendent Steve Tyler who is retiring at the end of this month. There are two regular agenda items - See entire AGENDA HERE

Closed for the Holidays


Town Hall is closed for the Holidays the entire week of Christmas. 

We will be closed Monday, December 25 through Monday, January 1. We will re-open at 8:00 am on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. 

The Police Department is not affected by the closure.

Last Chance!


The Atherton Police Department is collecting new, unwrapped toys for families at Selby Lane School. 

Donations of toys and gift cards may be made to the Atherton Police Department. A Red/White striped Gift Box marked with the Atherton PD logo is located in the lobby of the Atherton Police Department. While dropping off your donation, please drop by and say hi to your local law enforcement personnel. We look forward to it! 

We are accepting new, unwrapped toys for kids ages 5 to 11 years old.You can also donate by using the gift registry created below by Atherton. The gifts are shipped directly to the Atherton Police Department. A link to the registry:

We will accept gifts until end of day Tuesday, December 19. a BIG Thank YOU to those who have already donated. The Police Department looks forward to delivering the wonderful gifts to the school.
