2015 Easter Egg Hunt

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

The Friends of Holbrook-Palmer Park are gearing up for the Annual East Egg Hunt at Holbrook-Palmer Park. 

In 2015, the Easter egg hunt had over 900 participants! 
This year's event:
When:  Saturday, March 26, 2016
Time:  Gates open 9:30am, hunt starts at 10:15am
Where:  Holbrook-Palmer Park, 150 Watkins Avenue, Atherton
Cost: $10 per person at the gate (12 months and younger are free)

In addition to the hunt, the event will include a magician, face painting and balloons, photo with the Easter bunny, desserts & breakfast and much more!

The Easter egg hunt is limited to children 10 years and younger. Please bring your own easter baskets. Limit 12 eggs per child.

The proceeds from this annual event, enjoyed by the community for years,  benefits the charity 'Friends of Holbrook-Palmer Park', which raises funds towards the preservation and beautification of Holbrook-Palmer Park.

E-Scrap, Shred and Compost Event

For Atherton residents only.

At the event, residents can bring paper documents and confidential materials for safe and secure onsite shredding and unwanted electronics for recycling.

• SHREDDING is limited to three standard bankers boxes (10” x 12” x 15”) per household.

• ELECTRONICS accepted for recycling include televisions, computer monitors, personal computers, DVD players, printers, cables/cords, cell phones, MP3 players, laptops, fax machines, keyboards, stereos, storage discs, tape and zip drives, UPS power supply units, video game consoles, VCRs and more.

• COMPOST GIVEAWAY – Each resident is welcome to take up to 5 gallons of nutrient-rich compost to enrich their gardens. It’s Bring Your Own Bucket – so please also bring your own shovels, gloves and containers.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 9 am to 12 pm in the parking lot at the corner of Dinkelspiel and Fair Oaks (directly behind the Atherton Town Hall).
