Prescription Discount Program

We are pleased to announce our participation in the League of California Cities (LCC) and National League of Cities (NLC) “My Healthy Hometown” Prescription Discount Program which allows us to offer our residents the opportunity to save money with discounts on everyday prescription medicine costs.

The My Healthy Hometown Prescription Discount Program is free to residents of Atherton. By showing a My Healthy Hometown Prescription Discount Card at a participating retail pharmacy, a resident can receive an average of up to 24% off the retail price of prescription medicine. There are no annual limits placed on use, no forms to fill out, no waiting periods, no age or income requirements and no medical condition restrictions. Residents can obtain their free My Healthy Hometown Prescription Discount Card at city hall or by downloading a card here or obtain one by calling toll-free 1-888-620-1749.

Prescription discounts are good for the whole family and apply to pet medicines, too. Those who do not have insurance can show their card to save on the cost of all prescription purchases. Those who do have insurance can show the card when their prescription medicines are not covered by their insurance plan.
