The Town held a series of community outreach meetings in June and July to introduce the Civic Center’s conceptual design to Atherton residents. The City Council approved the Conceptual Plan
on October 7, 2015, following extensive analysis and review by the CCAC. The Council directed that the proposed Council Chambers be relocated from the Administrative Services wing to the Public Safety Services wing of the facility.
Right now, CCAC is working with WRNS Studios, LLP on the Schematic Design Phase, which includes fine-tuning of room sizes and relationships, systems, interior spaces, and preparation of preliminary elevation studies of the buildings’ exteriors.
The new civic center needs a lot of public input and participation along the way so we encourage you to get involved at every stage. Click Here to View the upcoming Schedule
